Citizens Advice Gateshead is an independent local charity, and is responsible for the delivery of the national telephone-based Consumer Service which provides advice and information to members of the general public from across England and Wales.
Our team of Consumer Contact Centre Advisers provides tailored, succinct telephone advice to members of the general public to help them to know and understand their rights and responsibilities associated with the purchase of goods, and provide Trading Standards Authorities with the essential intelligence they need to protect people from rogue traders.
If you have proven experience of providing advice and guidance on complex issues resulting in an ability for a customer to take action, and you are able to learn detailed and complex information and apply this new knowledge in a simple and easy to understand manner whilst under pressure, we can provide training in the area of consumer rights and responsibilities.

£17,678 per annum
37 hours per week
20 days (rising to 22 after four years' service) plus Bank Holidays
