Can you make a difference to people's lives through impartial money advice?
The Money Advice Caseworker role involves enabling clients of Citizens Advice Gateshead to access quality, impartial advice, information and guidance associated with all matters connected with money advice, debt and financial inclusion.
The post holder will be responsible for helping clients to maximise their available income by checking benefit eligibility, availability of switching utilities and considering other spending habits. Where appropriate they will also undertake casework to provide the best possible outcome for those clients facing more complex and challenging issues, ensuring the service provided is tailored to the needs of each individual, whilst satisfying funder requirements and complying with FCA regulations
Reporting to our Money Advice Specialist, the Money Advice Caseworker will become a key member of our Advice Services (Legal and Regulated) team, delivering services which are critical to the achievement of our vision of a fair society for all, with lives well lived.
If you have a passionate commitment to our vision of a fair society for all, with lives well lived, and have at least 12 months experience of undertaking debt casework and getting the best possible outcome for the client, we'd love to hear from you.
