This vacancy provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the delivery of the national Witness Service, which provides independent support to both prosecution and defence witnesses before they appear in criminal court.
The Senior Telephone Adviser will be a key member of the team responsible for delivering our high-performing national telephone-based Witness Service contract. This is one of several important services delivered by Citizens Advice Gateshead which is an independent charity operating locally, regionally and nationally in pursuit of our vision of a fair society for all, with lives well lived.
The successful candidate will ensure witnesses always achieve the best possible outcome, through supporting the Team Leader to build the capacity and capability of the team to deliver the service efficiently, to a high quality standard, and in full compliance with our Performance Quality Framework.
As a member of the Witness Service National Contact Centre team the Senior Telephone Adviser will support the Team Leader with the training, coaching and mentoring of all team members. Focusing on the service development priorities identified and agreed with the Team Leader, they will be responsible for delivering individual and group training, and will proactively develop further training and coaching as required.
