Our team of over 160 staff and a growing volunteer community we deliver impartial, quality advice and information services in Gateshead to almost 13,000 people a year and 400,000 people nationally. Our aim is straight forward - to help people to know and understand their social welfare rights and responsibilities so they can improve their quality of life.

We are recruiting 5 Social Welfare Advisers to work alongside our generalist advice team in Gateshead, to support clients across the full spectrum of social welfare issues including welfare benefits, employment, money advice, community care, energy, discrimination and housing. If you have supported clients with any of these issues providing advice and casework support, and you are keen to join a progressive charity that can help you to make a real difference to people's lives, whilst also giving you a chance to grow your skills and your impact, we'd love to hear from you.
