Citizens Advice Gateshead is an independent charity working as part of the Citizens Advice network. Our vision is for a fair society for all, with lives well lived. We deliver local services to 13,000 people a year and support an additional 400,000 people nationally through our telephone and web services.
We are working in partnership to deliver Wise Steps in Gateshead, a project to help remove the barriers to employment. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund, Wise Steps helps people in Tyne and Wear to transform their lives by providing one to one tailored support to help them take positive steps towards work.
The Financial Inclusion Adviser is responsible for providing debt advice, money management and support with welfare benefits in response to the individual needs and priorities of each Wise Steps Programme participant. Where appropriate you will also be required to undertake casework to provide the best possible outcome for those Wise Steps Programme participants facing more complex and challenging issues.
