Congratulations to Gateshead's Community Heroes!
We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to everyone who wonor was shortlisted, for the Gateshead Awards 2021.
With the ceremony cancelled last year, many categories had two year's worth of amazing businesses, initiatives, and volunteers to vote for. Our very own Jane Thwaite was shortlisted for the Volunteer of the Year award in 2020 after 30 years of volunteering with Citizens Advice Gateshead.
The last 16 months have underlined the crucial role volunteering and community engagement play in making our lives richer and more fulfilling. Well done to everyone involved in the awards this year and thank you for your efforts for Gateshead.
